Description
In order for Prince Rhys Casteleilles to become king, he needs to obtain a bride. Lord King Ercor desires his son to be wed before he can take the throne, while Rhys refuses to marry someone for the gain of his own country (like his father has). However, to free his mother from his father’s grasp he needs the throne. Begrudgingly he accepts his father’s wishes and is now traveling to the city of Aramore to meet his final potential suitor, but Rhys is having doubts he’ll be able to go through with it after all.
Meanwhile
Oren Sylfir has been running from his responsibilities. When Oren was young his father made a deal with a sorceress that, in exchange for their magic, he would marry her daughter when they both come of age. Now older and betrothed, he doesn’t want to marry his childhood friend and someone he doesn’t love, he yearns to see the world and live life like an adventure. Unfortunately after hearing word that his father has fallen ill, Oren returns to his home of Aramore where he will help with the family blacksmith business until his father is well again. Soon he’ll realize he can’t avoid his fate for long.
