I was walking down the street after my boyfriend dumped me for my best friend. I even helped her get ready for her date.  I try to hold my tears as I sit beside a man on the street I had bought a bottle of wine and started to wash my pain away.  I noticed from the side that he was watching me. I looked at my bottle then looked at him I sighed and handed it to him. 

“ Sir do you know what it’s like to be betrayed?” I ask as I turn my head to look at him. He was sleeping. 

I start to get lost in thought when I hear a splash I open my eyes and see a little boy I immediately jump to my feet I kicked off my shoes and prepared to jump then I stopped to look around to see if anyone had noticed only I had noticed him. 

“ WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?!” I shout as I jump into the water and start to swim towards him the little boy's father had just noticed what was going on because he jumps into one of the boats and boats towards us. I  kept the boy afloat while the father comes over he grabs the son first then he reaches towards me as I reached out to the man I look at the sky and I see and a solar eclipse is happening then my body starts to feel heavy and I sink I suddenly can’t swim as I go under I keep trying to swim towards the surface but it was like fighting your fate you can’t win. The last thought that goes through my head is 

     I want to live.

Then darkness covers my eyes and I’m nothing.
