Personally, I think it is wrong to put "drama" or "lgbtq+" as genres in this case. Background themes? Yes. Genre? Unlikely. I'm afraid I can't say more until I post the ending. But I will warn you in advance - if you came with the hope of a gay drama with a romantic ending - please, leave. This is not a BL in the slightest.
P.S. yeah, "Lemon Tree" by Fools Garden is a good music for this (ignoring the memes), it was a great inspiration for me while I was writing the script.
