A world where the power of the soul has long been unlocked and broke the limits of whats possible for humans. The power was named Ulos and no one, but a select few of those who have conquered their "closeness" with death are able to gain it. Being tied with humanity there are of course people that have used it to satisfy nothing but their greed and malicious intents. To combat this the other side of humanity has created an order to balance the world of Ulos by cultivating the younger generation. Now that the current generation has come to wield it at its peak with that... the balance of the world began to crumble.
