Sehloho is a Sote, believed to be dangerous and is sent to Oakland institute to protect her from the world. One-night Zera a magical shape-shifting Gobblesnoffer appears and gives Sehloho a magic starter. With the magic starters she becomes a Spark, destined to save the world. Life as she knows it changes and she has to find people and figure out more about magic and what being a hero means.
