A short comic for the TapasXKickstarter contest about the importance of daydreaming as a child.
When I was a child, my mom struggled with a chronic illness and was constantly in and out of the hospital. I learned to daydream and tell myself stories while waiting with my mom through her doctor appointments and hospital stays as a way to cope and entertain myself. I always brought my mom my latest drawings to brighten up her sterile hospital room.
This comic is inspired by my real life experience.
