The story follows the exploits of Jonathan Hyodo. A former Hunter of supernatural creatures now betrayed by his order and on the run from malevolent forces.
Caught in the midst of a massive cold war fought by three powerful factions, the Forces of Heaven, the Noble Houses of Hell, and the Fallen Crime Families, Jon is constantly under threat from those who wish to exploit the unique powers of his bloodline. His life takes a turn, however, when a chance encounter with a crimson-haired woman forces him to switch sides in the game of souls.
