California life isn’t always as glamorous as the movies make it out to be. Grey is an over-analytical teen struggling with the eat-or-be-eaten drama of high school, girlfriend troubles (or lack thereof), and bullies.
What’s more? His deadbeat father comes slithering back into his life to take legal custody of him just before he turns eighteen, meaning leaving his mother with little to no income, leaving his best friend and partner in crime, and leaving behind the only person that may have actually mattered to him.
Grey is now faced with an onslaught of challenges, from being exposed to drugs and gambling, to facing the decision of where he could possibly run to in order to escape his father.
