For centuries, in a world similar yet dissimilar to our own, gods roamed the Earth by way of vessels, these vessels were known as Effigies. Being the avatar of a god, Effigies have the ability to access the power of the god within them, growing so powerful that some could level entire cities in the blink of an eye.
Ky Keller, a young man of our very world, passed away at a young age. However, to his surprise, his life would not come to an end as he was reborn in a new world, a world where he was the Effigy of the God of Lightning and was named Raziel Winterbolt. Not only was he an Effigy, but he was connected to some sort of system: The Companion System. By getting closer to those around him, Raziel would level up this system and grow to become even more powerful.
