“Give it up to The Marvels!” rang through the intercom. Bakugou stands up, his legs feeling like they are going to give in at any moment.
"Can we talk about a 'miracle?'" I mean, seriously, have you ever seen a stunt team like this before? They're more than just a team, they're a force of nature, defying gravity and achieving the impossible as if they were in a regular office.
Every time they perform, it's like a superhero movie come true. Flips, spins, de-sleep - it's all executed so perfectly you'd think they were born to do this. Or maybe they were, because I can't imagine how they manage to pull off the impossible so easily. And let's not forget their teamwork. It's like they have a brain, always in sync, always knowing exactly where the other is and what they're going to do next. It's a level of coordination and trust you don't see every day.
But what really fascinates me is their fearlessness. They stare danger in the face and laugh, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and never backing down from a challenge. It’s not just impressive, it’s downright inspiring." went on through the intercom as they made their way onto the stage.
As they drew closer to the stage the cheers became deafening, making most of the group members cover their ears. They look at each other one last time and cover their faces with their face masks. They bow as the curtains draw open and Bakugou opens the night with a huge leap forward, landing on his hands. The spotlight shifts from Bakugou to Mina who holds the silk straps suspended from the roof and twisting them forward till she is hanging upside down. She descends gracefully into splits twirling her legs around the pink silk. The crowd falls quiet at her movements and as it shrinks in noise, she descends down to the ground and lands on her feet performing a series of pirouettes and break-dance moves making the crowd yell in awe.
The spotlight shifted from Mina to Kirishima who was standing near a wall. He was about to defy gravity’s laws. He started climbing the walls and flipping to the top earning a gasp from the crowd. He falls back down and onto all fours before standing up. The spotlight shifted from him to Kaminari standing on a high wire which was thin and trembling and he performed a series of handsprings and no-handed flips before flipping off the wire and landing on the ground. The cheers went on and on, making hours feel like minutes.
The first act was finally over.
