This reminds me of when I started making comics as a child (minis doing the words in Microsoft Word, i did it all by hand), my first comic was a little sires called Ninja Time, just like you they started as stick figures and would always beat the bad guy in seconds with no problem. As some time went by I decided to expand my art and made them less like a stick figure and more human like, and I even added more characters, they did not look that good, their necks we're to long and their arms and legs was stiff like they didn't have elbows, I also tried putting every little character in one box and that was a mess. I got board of it and tried making different comics, they never went any where. I stopped making comics for a while got a note book and started drawing fan arts and what ever my mind could think of to improve my skills. after i felt good and ready i started up a new comic I called The End, the first one is 50 pages and the art was much better and more detailed, the second one is still not done and not sure if it ever will be, but i knew i can still improve my skills, got a new book experimented with drawing and now I'm doing one called Don't be afraid (which you can find on my account now, but it's not for children, i mean its not like strong language or nudity nothing like that, its more because it is a horror comic and their will be some part with blood a gore, stuff like that) now if you saw my first comic and went through my book and looked at my other comics, you will see a very big difference. the point I'm trying to make is no matter what anyone say about your work, no matter how bored or impatient you get, keep going come up with new ways to keep your love of drawing going, take a break if you need too, just keep going, you have potential and could make it big with you ever improving skills, don't be scared to try something new with it. Read comics and look at the pictures remember what you see and try to copy it, if you have to trace them.
