Description
On a distant star divided into seven elemental kingdoms, Princess Parfait of Yu was born with no magic at all. In a world where power defines worth, her only weapon is a sword and the stubborn resolve to prove she belongs.
Her path changes when she crosses fates with Kit — a half-demon assassin cursed to shift between human and monster with the rising and setting sun. Bound by prophecy and hunted by shadows, the two form a fragile alliance that blurs the line between trust and danger.
Together they must navigate kingdoms riddled with betrayal, secrets older than the crown, and a darkness that once nearly consumed the world. As Parfait begins to uncover the truth about her “powerlessness” and Kit struggles to hold on to his humanity, both will be forced to choose how much of themselves they’re willing to sacrifice to save a star already slipping toward ruin.
