An alliance with the Gem civilization is about to form on the planet Umelia. But a crime occurred in the city of Wolk that could jeopardize this peace treaty: a gem was destroyed. A Topaz intends to find out which criminal has dared to kill a poor pearl, but solving the case alone will be anything but child's play, especially if at her side there is a criminal very little accustomed to justice. This unlikely duo will end up getting involved in a matter that goes beyond a simple criminal act.
