Hi everyone,
This is my second webnovel after Meeting Again, which was also my very first novel on the Tapas platform 📚
Before anything else, I want to give my deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who subscribed, read, liked, and supported my first book. Your encouragement truly meant the world to me, and your support is the reason I found the courage and motivation to return with another story:
UNFINISHED RHYTHM
Unlike my previous novel, which carried a more angsty and tension-filled atmosphere, this story takes on a lighter and more heartfelt tone 😊
At its heart, this is a story about five boys whose lives become intertwined after they enter the National Dance Competition, or NDC 💃 As they push themselves to overcome the challenges of the competition, they are also forced to confront the struggles in their personal lives. The battles they face on stage begin to mirror the battles within themselves, leading them on a journey that changes their lives forever.
Though generally light-hearted, Unfinished Rhythm still explores several serious and mature themes, including:
-
Bullying
-
Homophobia
-
Sexual harassment and assault
-
Social and societal pressure
-
Emotional struggles
-
Childhood trauma
-
Psychological struggles
Reader discretion is advised.
If any of these topics are uncomfortable for you, please feel free to skip.
*Hate comments are not entertained*
This story is a work of fiction. While it is set in Seoul, all characters, competitions, institutions, and most places mentioned are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real people or events is purely coincidental.
I’m not Korean, but I’ve done my best to portray the setting with care and respect. If you are a native Korean reader and notice any cultural or factual inaccuracies, I would truly appreciate your guidance so I can improve.
