Kaito Nakaya is a strong yet airheaded and cheerful boy born in the magical world of Shea, raised in the secluded Kaya clan deep within a forest untouched by the outside world. Sheltered from the rest of society, Kaito grows up believing life is simple, until he discovers an old book chronicling a legendary adventure and a fabled treasure. Inspired, he resolves to leave his home and carve out his own journey.

Once beyond the forest, Kaito is confronted with a world far harsher than he imagined. Though it was grand, his naïve ideals clash with everyone he meets, monsters, rival adventurers, and the forces of a powerful empire. Friendships are tested, enemies are made, and yet his chipper attitude never changes.

In a world designed to break the weak and corrupt the hopeful, Kaito must decide whether to abandon his ideals or challenge the world itself with sheer determination.
