Rowan Elin is trapped in the middle of an apocalyptic world overrun by Vampires who show no remorse for anyone. The Vampires either drain you of your blood for nutrition to keep them alive for another week, or they turn you and add you to their endless military of bloodthirsty creatures. Food and water are scarce, and medical supplies are even scarcer. Plus, no corner is safe. A Vampire could be lurking anywhere, waiting for its next victim to devour.

Rowan has survived for seven months on his own. But after cheating death and being saved by Vampire Hunter Alaric Orpheus, who also happens to be Rowan's enemy, he agrees to team up with Alaric against his better judgement. His plan is to convince Alaric to trust him, and then betray him and steal his supplies. Simple, right?

As the weeks pass by, Rowan starts to experience unexpected feelings for Alaric, and he's thrown into a flurry of panic and confusion. On top of his newfound feelings, Alaric starts exhibiting strange qualities, ones that can't be human. But Alaric has to be human, right? He's a Vampire Hunter, after all.

A story about survival, personal growth, love and hope for a better future.
