His fated partner is out of his reach, locked away in the tallest building in the city from where he leads his army of human servants. Ryder will not give up; he must find a way to reach this man, no matter what it takes.
While he’s in the city, however, he needs to act like the city dwellers he despises. Therefore, when such a human who introduces himself as Average Joe approaches him with the direct question – ‘Would you sleep with me?’ – his answer is yes. After all, he needs a roof over his head here, no matter how much he loves the open sky.
