Description
October, 2009. All Cricket wants is to get a life. None of that seems very possible when you're stuck on Soapstone Island. In the wake of a storm that's flooded half the island, and the disappearance of thirteen townsfolk, Soapstone has a reputation: it's cursed, a death trap, a dead end.
But things change when Alfie, one of the thirteen, reappears with their memory in pieces. Cricket and her friends team up with Alfie and Yuzu—a local jock with weird new powers—and their search for the thirteen reveals a darker history that's closer to home than any of them imagined.
