In March of 2020, everyone in LA was panic shopping and hoarding supplies because of the pandemic. The dry goods and toilet paper were gone, but anything remotely foreign-sounding—like couscous—was untouched. More for me!
You'll find that the first 50 episodes of this comic take place during Covid times. That's because I'm still living them, and the pandemic is still a pretty big part of my life. It is what it is!
