Rosie and me were looking around in a old broken house to see if we could live here. "Hey L, look at this." I walk over their over all the junk in the house. "even if we can't live here we can go sell some of this stuff and maybe buy our own house?" I smile she was always wanting to live in a house with me, we had plans before this war happen. We live in a little island and a war between the two who run this island started out, we had plans before, people evacuated but we can't since we were only 15 and she was 14. I am not 21 and she 20 and we became great scavengers, only having to worry about some people who are magic users. Magic is illegal but has become more and more popular to use, and no one can stop them from using it. I am learning to use it just for Rosie sake.

We heard people talking as a door feel over in one other room. I had froze with fear. "Rosie go into closet okay" I quickly turn around to look at the door as I pull out my gun ready to fire. I got into a attack pose, "we won't hurt you, I promise. My name is Poppy Murray. We here to protect you." She held her hand out with a smile. Rosie went to shake hands with her as I was still in defense pose. She simply just shook hands. "Why don't you guys come with up we going to HQ." Poppy said with a cheerful smile.
