Yuzuki has a contract with a yōkai, and so has the ability to split his body with a fox spirit. One day he is chosen by the god Susano-o to find and protect the priestess Haruko, who is the key to freeing the powerful demon Kishin. Kishin's followers are after the young woman, and those who were chosen by Susano-o must find and protect her.
