The angels exist. They can fight alongside God or be promoted to Masters of The Heavenly Court. But...There are some other angels that fell from God's grace. They became humans. And some can get their full power off their human bodies. This was the case of Anna, a rude and bad-mannered 22-year-old woman, whose life has become more interesting since she has been notified she is one of "The Fallen", the unforgiven angels that fell from God's grace millions of years ago.
