Long time no hear! I hope 2019 has been going great for everyone! I wanted to thank everyone profusely for your patience with this announcement:
My Dad is a Magical Girl is coming off hiatus in March! Issue 19 is underway (slowly) with some exciting changes I hope everyone enjoys!
Additionally, fans of Entanglement: The series has gotten a rebranding during its hiatus (Now known as Iotera!) but I will not be continuing it as a webcomic. This doesn't mean I'm abandoning it! Just I don't feel a webcomic will be good for the vast universe my stories for it would tell, so I'm going to be going into a novel route! This, too, will be coming out for public consumption in (hopefully) monthly chapters! The tentative launch date for Iotera will be March, but that will depend if I get everything back in time from my editors. :)
Would I ever reapproach the idea of a comic for Iotera? Yes! Entirely! But not as a one-man team. Iotera's story is enough to cover 8 novels just for the core story, and I have a plethora of side stories to share as well. That is just too unrealistic as one person, I'd be long dead before I'd complete everything at that route!
So if you want to keep up with all this stuff in the meanwhile? I have twitters for everything! And if you want to check everything out as it gets developed WAY before public release, for just $1 a month you have access to all my magic behind the scenes, with MDIAMG Issues and Iotera chapters in advance as I make them! :D
And again thank you all so much for being patient with me during my injury hiatus. I miss interacting with everyone so much!

'My Dad is a Magical Girl' has appeared in St.Art Faire for pretty much two and a half years at this point. Sadly, on August 1st, the online magazine will be shutting down.
However, I won't be stopping the comic. It will continue to update as monthly issues for my backers on patreon ( https://www.patreon.com/shinavar ) and post mondays here on Tapas as a weekly update.
The big news, however is: I now have a website for the comic! ( https://mdiamg.shinavar.com ) The website will be one month (4 pages) ahead of all mirrors (that includes here), but will still be behind my Patreon. I'm super excited and a lot of work went into the site!
MDIAMG is also on Archive Binge ( https://archivebinge.com/comic/185 ) for those who like to keep up with the site and have it bookmarked in a more direct format.
But that's pretty much all I wanted to say~! Thank you all so much for your support. I'll have news involving Entanglement hopefully in the next few weeks so knock on wood!

Hey everyone! Sorry for the silence, I thought I posted here but apparently I hadn't :| An eviction led to an emergency move so I had been so busy last few weeks that I entered a temporary hiatus! I'm sorry about the silence and picking up today with the regular update schedule! <3
