Man funny story I'll be putting IHL to print again so if anyone wants in on that keep your eye out. In other news the refs credited my goal to the top goal scorer on our team which is a bummer but hey - I scored a beauty of a behind the back goal so can't complain.

This is the most up to date repository of the various parts of Romantic Atrocities. Due to size constraints on Tapas, I was unable to keep uploading here without seriously fucking with the chapter formatting, so I've been landing the written works on Tumblr.

ROMANTIC ATROCITIES 2023

It dawns on me that I haven't kept Tapas very updated, but those who know me well know that I have been hard at work on Romantic Atrocities for several months now after getting back into the creative swing of things.
First off, I am in the process of rerecording the songs with a couple new ones. They won't be very different, but I actually know them now, so I guarantee I will be playing them better. Maybe you can show your friends or whatever. It will be listenable this time. If you want a sneak peek, let me know - I'll send you a super secret soundcloud link!
Secondly, I intend to include the physical releases (CD and tape) of the rerecorded EP alongside a whole bunch of shit as part of what i've been calling a "narrative shoebox", which you're gonna love:
4 books of short stories and poetry (totaling over 36,000 words!!!)
A few comic books too
Photos and illustrations
A sticker (fuck it)
Letters and notes
And probably more!!!
I am seriously excited about what I am doing. I intend to sell this at a massive loss if it is at all feasible for me to print and publish from home. If not, fear not: In that case, I will be reaching out to small press art book publishers, and I intend to also upload the entire finished package for free online somewhere. (It may not be here due to the constraints of the site, but I will tell y'all where to look when it drops.)
My goal, which is a little crazy, is to have this "narrative shoebox" out by the end of 2023. That's this year!!! The stories have been fully drafted and I only have to finish the comics and rerecord the songs. I am bad at recording, but I will do it, for y'all.
Deeply sorry for the lack of updates. IHL and R/A were put on hold due to life circumstances, but now that I'm in the swing of it again, get fucking hype.

I haven't given up, but I had a few crazy life circumstances happen since the last update (pet illness and death, getting married, all sorts of crazy shit), so I haven't really had the opportunity to regroup and draw again until pretty recently. (Actually, there's only like a page or two left in this chapter, LMAO). There's even another chapter already scripted, but hey, life happens.
Maybe this is the reminder I needed to get back into it >:-) I'd love to sit down and draw more some time soon. Hope to have something to show!

Oh, if you're referring to Romantic Atrocities which actually did update about a year ago, I have huge plans for it. I am in the process of rerecording all the songs (not much different just played better) with a few new ones and I intend to rerelease the EP, with 4 books of short stories and poetry, and with a bunch of epistolary ephemera, later this year. I've been mostly hard at work on Romantic Atrocities this whole time! It's going to be sick as fuck.
I will likely finish up the current comic chapter and do one more to include 3 chapters in the package. It's gonna be huge and extremely cool, and I will try my best to sell it at a massive loss to make sure anyone who wants to read it gets a chance to. Even if that's not what you're talking about, well, get excited anyway, because I am sure excited to put it out.
