most likely no black rain today cuz i'm sick. Tried to get stuff done but all i have is the lineart and terrible coloring. maybe i'll be able to finish it after work but prob not. i'll try to upload tomorrow instead

Hey everyone! Update from me~
Since it's gotten pretty warm here in the Netherlands, and my room is in the attic (even hotter), I've decided that Black Rain updates might get a bit more irregular. (I hate summer, it's so warm, there's so many insects, and I have a terrible hayfever)
My drawing screen gets too warm to draw comfortably on, so I'm only drawing when it's a bit cooler. ...which is, sadly, almost never. I will try to update normally though!
Around the 1st week of july I'll have moved to my own place, which I expect to be cooler than here.
When I've moved in I guess Black Rain updates will be regular again, which they've more and less been in the last couple of months.
I might even update more often, since I'll have more time to myself :D <-wishful thinking
To the people who have been reading Black Rain every week, and supporting me by commenting and liking I say: I LOVE YOU! For real though.

Hey everyone!
My pen has finally arrived! I have uploaded the new Black Rain episode, and I will start on the next one immediately~ (this doesn't mean I'll actually have it done in time, because I'm a piece of shit).
I have been thinking for a while, but I'm not really happy with Black Rain as it is. I started without thinking really, and missed a lot of (usually minor) plot points. I've started re-writing the story, and making a script (which I haven't done for this version, because, like I said, I didn't think before I started). The new Black Rain I'm writing will probably have 3 stories woven into one. Akane's story (Odio Origins), Liz' story (LIZ, I've put this story online on Wattpad), and of course Alice's story (Black Rain). I might change the name, but I don't know about that yet. Nothing's written in stone though, and I might just continue Black Rain as it is, seeing as I'm lazy, shitty, and overwhelmed by life :P
I WILL continue Black Rain until I've decided to remake it, so don't worry~

I completely understand. I did the same for one of my series and at some point intend to revisit earlier issue and add/change a few things for everything to correlate.
I love it!
Personally I think you learn a lot by just starting a story. My first webcomic I simply started without knowing exactly what the heck I was doing. Learned a lot. Didn't really like the final product but it taught me what I wanted to do with future comics.
If you decide to reboot the series I'll be right onboard. It'd be cool to see a refined and heavily scripted version of this story. It's always hardest to start...no...wait...it's hardest to continue. Starting is easy but when time passes and you have to keep up the work you really begin to feel the strain. But then you can always look back at the comics you've done by that point and use that as inspiration to propel you forward. To just see: "Hot dang! I've really done a lot so far!" ^u^

Don't hold your breath for the next Black Rain upload (not that you were going to anyway, considering my random upload schedule), because my drawing tablet pen broke down. No idea when the newly ordered one will arrive. Fml.
