I’ve been pretty quiet for a while (mostly because I’ve been super distracted writing things I’ll probably never post here lol) But also in my defense the next episode is kinda long and it’s been intimidating me 😅 AND MEV’S HAIR… MEV, I LOVE YOU, BUT YOUR HAIR GIVES ME AN ANEURYSM 😭 And this is not a problem that’ll go away anytime soon. The only time she covers it up are when she goes into town and this other specific spoiler location. I did find a way to make a brush that makes it slightly easier, but it’s just a lot of manual work. For other characters, hair is a shape, BUT EACH STRAND OF HERS IS A SNAKE!! 🐍 And they all have little heads… *sigh* I’ve done this to myself. Anyway, I’m working on it. Slowly…

I MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE!!! (Okay it’s not that bad. I fixed it already.) All the trees in my latest episodes have been very green you may remember. THEY SHOULD NOT BE. It’s supposed to be fall at this time in the story, and if it’s not, it throws everything off! So I changed the trees to be more orangey. It doesn’t matter all that much to the current episodes what season it is, but later on the season will change and it can’t just go from summer to winter 😩 Besides, there’s also some dialogue that would no longer work later on if it wasn’t fall at this point. Anyway don’t worry about it. Just letting y’all know.

Is it weird that I can enjoy the stuff I’ve written like an addicting book? Like I’ll start reading the dialogue for future episodes of RoTP and I just can’t stop 😭 I stayed up until 1:30 in the morning because of this and it’s not even the first time this has happened. It gives me the same level of enjoyment as reading a book I haven’t read in a long time EVEN THOUGH I READ IT ALL RECENTLY AND KNOW IT BY HEART.
lol if you can't love your own work, then why write it? My love for my work is just seeing my novel universe come to life. If I could draw for myself, I wouldn't do anything else lol.
Man, I just got stuck reading it again haha 😅 you know, you could always try to learn drawing for yourself. You don’t even have to be that good, but it’s just really fun to see something that you imagined in your head on a paper. I mean, I don’t know whether you’ve got the time for that or anything, but if you do, it’s worth a shot!
I've tried several times to learn how to draw. As much as I do enjoy it, I'm hyper critical of my own art. I keep erasing and redrawing until I'm satisfied, spending hours on one picture lol.
I do have one character that I'm imaging with an easier design. More of a "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" style. Perhaps i could try to doodle that out and see if I like it.

The tapas forums being down is really throwing off my groove. 😭 they better fix it soon- It’s the only place where I show much of my art. Sure I could show stuff to my siblings but I hate going up to people all like- “hey, look at this.” they could be busy doing something else and not care as much as I want them to.
