Oh my goodness, it's been like, over a month since I've posted anything.
The next update for Nobody Loves the Bassist is coming, I swear. It should be out... about three days, give or take. I'm running it through a couple of pairs of eyes before I post anything. To make up for it, I'll probably be posting the fifth loop biweekly.
I'll address this more in another post after I finish up the fifth chapter, but I suppose I should address the elephant in the living room. You know, the results of the 3rd Writer's Camp.
I'd like to thank each and every one of you for subscribing to Nobody Loves the Bassist. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate each and every one of you. I'm not really even sure how it happened; if you check the entrants by subscriber count, The Bassist isn't even in the top ten (???). But, regardless, I'm thoroughly humbled. Thank you all very much.
I'm not really sure what I'm allowed to say, since this is the first time this sort of thing has happened to me, but I plan to make another post about this once I've wrapped up this arc in The Bassist. Hopefully, I'll be more clear on the details by then.

Hey, congrats on winning! I think you should know if you plan to/have signed a contract with Tapas for your story to go Premium you shouldn't post more chapters until you make the switch! If you don't plan to sign the contract then I believe you're free to post as many new chapters as you would like. Congrats again, I'm excited for you!

A quick update on Nobody Loves the Bassist: The fifth loop is coming soon. It's been a very difficult series of chapters to write, for a number of back-end reasons. I've written a full draft of it, but it's just not up to par yet.
Thanks for your patience! The Bassist isn't dead, so don't worry. We'll be back shortly.

This is my first subscriber post... am... I doing it right?
I'm writing to those who are following my Writer's Camp novel, Nobody Loves the Bassist. I know there's been mostly radio silence on my end (I've been busy with stuff on my end) but I fully intend to at least reach the minimum chapter count to, you know, actually be a valid entry for Writer's Camp.
I guess, I wanted to be transparent with my plan going forward.
I'm going to be releasing the next set of chapters daily, starting... probably Wednesday, depending on a number of circumstances on my end.
Hope that's not overwhelming! Let me know if it is. I've been on Tapas for a while, but I haven't really gotten serious until recently. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
I had originally planned to have the first five 'cycle chapters' released before January 13th, since, that's a climax that I think's gonna make a good sub-finale. I might just have to make do with the fourth chapter, but... we'll see. The next chapter's title is 'Believe in Me.' And... I hope you'll all do that for me, too.
In any case, I'll be keeping you all posted on The Bassist's progress going forward. It's crunch time... but I can do it.
