Hey! it's been a while, I know I promised CELESTIALS: Magic & Ruin returning on January or February (and now it's late April *sweats*) and yea, it's partially due to college. But also, I've been working on rebooting the series completely!
I last announced of completely changing the style format from vertical scrolling to page, and that was under the assumption I wasn't going to change much about the story, if at all. Then I kinda ended up thinking on it more and realized that the story I wrote when I was 16 (yup, I was a teenager when I wrote Celestials, and 17 when I was putting out episodes) is so vastly different now that I'm 20 and these characters + my art and writing skills has grown.
When will the reboot come out? I dunno. It's hard to say. Writing is a real long and tedious process for me, funnily enough. Best I can say is 2025 if life permits it. Expect to not only see updated art though (whew, no more earlier episodes without shading), but also completely different depictions of Aleeyah, Jupiter, Kalen and the world.
(also possible mature rating but who really knows right)

hey everyone! i'll be taking the rest of november and december off for the holidays + to concentrate on my studies so there won't be updates for celestials for the rest of the year.
an additional announcement though, i've been thinking on it for a while, but i've recently thought of completely changing the format of celestials from vertical scrolling format to a page format. i'm still playing it by ear and experimenting, so it's not final, but depending on what i do i might either convert all the episodes so far to page format, redraw them, or leave them as is... i might just decide to continue drawing the comic as a vertical scrolling comic anyway. either way, celestials will come back next year! i'm aiming for january or february but we're gonna have to see lol

update for celestials was planned to be on the 28th (aka today) but i'll have to upload a few days late. at the latest it will go up on september 1st. apologies for the delay
hey everyone, happy pride month! i know the last update was in march and i also promised to publish roughly every month but to be real with you all, i've gotten VERY busy the past few months, and when i'm not busy, i'm usually very exhausted. my finals are coming up, and i haven't been able to work on CELESTIALS the past few weeks since i've been swamped with so much work. rest assured though, the next episode for CELESTIALS is nearly finished and it should be up this month! hopefully i get more time to work on the comic this summer, and updates will be more frequent.
sadly, this means i'm unsure if i'll be able to upload a pride update for it at this time... i usually need a couple days to prepare a poster at the very least and my schedule for the rest of june could be busy. but the priority has always been to upload more episodes anyway, and i do intend to do just that.

also i forgot to mention the prologues for celestials have been updated with new art and new lore! so while they are not required reading for the rest of the comic, they give a better launching point for the whole comic ^^ give it a read if u want guys!

the comic has been on hiatus for nearly five months. i know i promised an episode in july and i apologize for not making up to that. i've been super busy much of july, prepping to move/travel, prepping for college, drawing for other venues aside from celestials, all that jazz. it's all been very draining, mentally and physically. just know i'm working on the newest episode! just a bit slower than i normally do for both my sanity and my health.
Hope things get better soon azzy! Take all the time you need.
