I've been ill for the past few days (longer than that, actually, but now I really don't have the energy to work), so I can't manage to finish this week's page and, as usual, I ran out of backlog.
Transmission will resume as soon as possible, sorry everybody.
Quick announcement: due to Naples Comicon happening in the past five days, the new page will be published tomorrow. Don't worry, the usual weekly dose of Ufo is coming.
I wouldn't normally bother you guys with posts about the new episodes, but the one we published today is all about what to expect from Captain ufo's future. If you're interested, go and check the description for more info!
The new page of Captain Ufo will arrive a bit late due to an untimely post-vacation flu. You won't have to wait too much, we'll be back most likely tomorrow.
I suppose you guessed by the lack of update last week that things did not end well. Anyway, now the mood is improving. I'm sorry but there won't be a new page this week either, but the new one is already in the works and I can confirm that starting next week we'll be back to regular updates. I may even be able to rebuild a bit of backlog for the future. So, see you in a few days! Captain Ufo is coming back!
I'm sorry to report that things have gone horribly wrong once again, so there may be bad news for this week's page.
I believe you deserve maybe a bit more explanations, so here we go: my grandma had to undergo surgery for a liver cancer a month and a half ago (basically, when we had our first missed page). Since then it's been a rollercoaster, one day she's doing great and the next one her conditions are alarming. The past three weeks had ben great to the point that doctors were starting to talk about releasing her from the hospital (up to yesterday night everyone, family and doctors alike, was in a really great mood).
Today she suffered a stroke, completely unexpected and apparently unrelated to everything else, and things are horribly alarming once again, and all the plans I was making were flushed down the toilet in a matter of minutes.
I'm really sorry but I don't know when I'll have time for Captain Ufo untill the situation evolves for the good or for the bad. Maybe we're back to normal in a matter of a few days, maybe we'll have to skip the update this week.
I'll let you know when we'll be back to our regular schedule, thanks for the patience.
I'm really sorry to hear about your grandma, I hope things resolve for the best. Unfortunately comics have to take the backseat sometimes. Good luck <3
Well, I said that there were going to be hiccups, and an hiccup happened, even though from an unexpected direction, in the form of a really nasty flu with fever, and bone pain and all the stock.
The new page was mostly ready before I ended up bedridden for a few days. I guess I'll take advantage of the situation to bring back our traditional upload day of Wednesday. So, see you in a couple of days!
I'm sorry to announce that, for the first time since the beginning of Captain Ufo (which means three years ago considering our debut on Facebook) I won't be able to publish the new page this week due to family issues.
I promise it won't be one of those "it's only for now but actually it ends up being a crapton of months" hiatus, we'll be back to normal nex week.
Thank for the patience. Send hugs.
