hey! i don't know if you still use tapas but i wanted to let you know that years ago i published a very shitty, crappy novel. ur encouragement helped me finish it. i never forgot how much u supported it and sometimes i feel like i cant thank u enough! if i hadn't practised then, i would be even worse at writing now. so, thank you. SO MUCH
I just want to say, I seem to see you all over the place and with a lot of varied novels and comics on this site. You always leave interesting, amusing, and incredibly in-depth comments. Its sort of personal goal of mine to someday see you leave a comment on one of my works, but in comparison to a lot of what I see you read on here, I have to say I have a long way to go.
Anyway, I just wanted to say, keep up the good work. I always find it fun to go through your comments and see if our ideas/guesses as to where the stories are going to go clash or meld. It's also fun to see someone else differing opinion and thoughts. Sometimes its almost enjoyable as the actual chapter or episode of a story itself. 😊

Hi Pennie! I wanted to start by apologizing for not getting back to you sooner. Unfortunately, Tapas still to this day is primarily designed with a Desktop-only interface when it comes to PMs and User Wall posts. I think they still believe that mobile users should download their app or the only people using PMs are using a Desktop to upload their content. Basically, a holdover medium for content creators. It's aggravating.

My mom was born in 1949, so you're around the same age! :3 Though, I know if it hadn't been for what happened to my dad and the mounting oxidative stress, she'd undoubtedly be on here too, bulldozing through stories and having a fantasy fangasm to her heart's content! :3 Stupid dementia... Meh...
Yeah, I've unfortunately, had my share of tragedy [born 1986; only child, late father born 1950, died 2013 thanks to the state], so I've come to learn a bit more about the world in a way that others of the lighter tones of my ancestry/family/etc., simply don't get.
Though, quite honestly, I have to laugh, because my mom is so young in mind and at heart, that you remind me of her in that I would never have pegged you for being in your 60s! :3 Then again, my mother was effectively a Motown, funk, soul, disco queen exobitionist and perpetually in her 20s, so... Heh. :3
[Begins playing Aretha's "Chains of Fool" and watches his mother ass begin that grind... Pffff. Yes... mom... We *ALL* know where I get it... (dad begins shouting because mom has Thriller on so sound that the floor is vibrating on her old Kenwood stereo...Ah, for the good old days... Heh)]

Ohhhh, my goodness!!! Hahahahaha! *song* Memories can be beautiful and yet... Honey, I can't move like that anymore. What's interesting is I like my mom and how she loves scifi novels, books, movies! But I've gotten caught in the web of anime, Korean drama, Sirius XM Chill music, Gospel Message music, Alternative rock, and those songs from the past just like "Pink Cadillac" Aretha Franklin, some old school stuff, movie soundtracks...ahhhh...just about everything! Hey, right now I'm listening (watching) CNN news regarding immigration crisis. I'm glad you've got humor in your life because that's what we need.
I tend to listen to/read The Intercept [the articles as well as others] for legitimate 4th estate in the age of corporate owned and controlled hegemony [particularly the corporate owned media], RT, and other sources, particularly online print, Democracy Now!, and other sources. Mostly, progressive, but when the Republican in you transforms from the horror of the external, into a raging, tree-hugging, protest supporting, Occupy practicing, flipping GREEN, you *KNOW* shit has gone orthogonal! :rofl:
As for anime, sci-fi, and fantasy, my mom is a freaking OBSESSED, anime/manga drawing otaku of the 1st order. Unfortunately, due to oxidative stress, she's had major onset delirium classified as dementia, and due to the failures of the state to properly treat it, DHS running off with her, etc., she's not in her fantasy/romance novel reading prime. But..., I have faith. :3 Hope. or, Absolute and Complete Delusion that I shall refuse to relinquish under ANY circumstances, because I am just THAT MUCH of a damned hard headed fool! :rofl:
But, in any event, you are NOT alone! :3

Ohhhh, my! Life has so many surprises. I pray healing for your mom. And you might just help me (on a more relatable basis) with my main character's mom. She's got the delirium/bipolar disease and Paul has been dealing with that till she died (kind of accidentally set the house on fire, took too many drugs, and her internal system shut down...she dies.) Tragic, and Paul blames himself and his dad rejects him because of what his mom had whispered to his dad on her deathbed. Again, tragic.
