Looking at my bank statement I could see why the bank had called me in alarm by the amount in my account. Two million. What the hell could I say to the agent to explain this shit!

"My rich uncle passed away," I mumbled still in shock.

"He clearly liked you, Mr Saint, "

"Yeah, he must of."

The newspaper was on her desk and she had the page open to houses.

"Are you looking to invest in anything in the future?"

"Actually, I am."

Grabbing the paper I showed her the house for half a million dollars.

"I'm thinking about buying this house."

"Well then Mr Saint, I will get in touch with the seller and set about helping you with that."

"Thank you so much"

I could do so much with this money. I could open my own private clinic, That had always been my dream. Or I could get a fast shiny green sports car. I was daydreaming so hard when I left the bank. Going window shopping on my way home I spotted something that caught my attention.

There in the window sat very beautiful ruby cufflinks. My mind wondered to Romeo. Huffing I walked into the store and looked around until a lady came over.

"Welcome to suit boss, did you need help looking for anything?"

"Actually yes. The cufflinks in the window."

"What pair darling?"

"The ruby pair."

Her eyes trailed up and down me before she slowly walked over and got them.

"These are quite expensive darling."

"Oh I figured as much, they are to be a gift."

"These are $3,324 dollars, they must be someone important."

"Trust me, they did something very nice."

After paying for the cufflinks she wrapped them in a small lovely black box. Going to the dollar store I bought a blank white card. Calling a cab I went home.

Arriving at home I went up to the lift and right inside my apartment. Grabbing a pen I wrote thank you inside on the card before slipping it in the envelope. Remembering the address of Romeo's house I grabbed my car keys and went back down the lift. Taking the gift I had gotten him my hand shook the whole drive to his house. Carefully I got out of the car and slipped the box and letter into his mailbox. I ran when I saw a car coming up the driveway.

Getting back into my car I drove off like a demented man.

My heart was beating a mile a minute and my hands were still shaking. I had to thank him though, not for the whole stealing me, but for paying me and my debt off. That was way more then I thought I was ever going to get. I needed a tea to calm down. I drove to the nearest drive threw coffee place that served tea and ordered a large peppermint tea. I set the tea in my cup holder and drove to one of the best shops in town. The Chocolate shop. My home away from home. My heaven.

Parking my car I got out and locked the doors my tea now forgotten about. I needed chocolate.

Once inside I smiled and took in the deep smell of all the chocolate. God damn, I loved chocolate. Finding the chocolate chips covered in sprinkles I bought like ten pounds of them. By the time I was finished I had way too much chocolate and spent over a thousand dollars. Carrying all the bags to my car I set them inside and closed the door. That's when I came over me.

I bought a thousand dollars of chocolate. What the hell.
