Several hours had passed since Azrael had kicked, literally, Rindou down the steps into Heaven. The common sense logic was obviously shattered from Rindou's head when he had sat up and looked around to see white stone marble structures and people with white wings flying around. They had actually gotten to Heaven by, it being more odd than a fish in the desert, going into the ground.
A few moments for Rindou to sit there star struck, and then he was up and following Azrael through the huge open expanse. Everything looked the same. The people were dressed differently though, white with pinks and reds, and oranges with golds and blues. Color combinations usually seen back in their world only on the biggest festival of the year, Reian. (The celebration festival lasts from 2am April 2nd to 9am April 3rd. A dawn-to-dusk-to-dawn festival of colors, music and societies mingling with everyone, poor and rich alike. On this day it's acceptable to dress anyway, but you must have clothes on. Of any colors. And best thing: there's no such thing as a bad hair day or having to worry about two different colored socks. Cause odds are there's someone dressed like a rainbow clown more than you still out there in the crowd.)
Rindou followed Azrael quietly for what felt like an hour before the teen suddenly stopped and pointed up to a huge castle-like structures. The only way you could tell it was important was due to the fact that all of its towers were several yards taller than the rest of the city.
"That's the Grand Palance." Azrael explained to Rindou quietly. "It's where the gates to Hell are, and the doors to Limbo are too. The rulers of Heaven are also there. I'm pretty sure they have Kura inside."
"OK... So now what?" Rindou asked, looking to Azrael.
"We'll stay overnight at that place," Azrael said, pointing to a smaller house near the large castle. "In the morning we can go in and find Kura and somehow negotiate his freedom and the rest periods for the two siblings."
"You think they'll go for it," Rindou asked after a long time of silence. He was sitting in a chair near a small bed in the single-roomed house now.
"The high masters?" Azrael asked, barely awake.
"Yeah."
"I don't see why not."
Rindou watched Azrael for a bit. He really looked so much like Kura. Eye color, body build, hair, skin, even the sweet smell of their clothes was the same. But then again, it was because Azrael was in Kura's body. When Azrael had huddled up to Rindou earlier, he had noticed a unique smell that obviously was only from Azrael. It smelled of pine trees, ocean's salty air and sunflowers in the hot summer.
Before he knew what he was doing, Rindou was up and leaning over Azrael kissing over his face.
Azrael blinked awake and shoved Rindou away. "Hey! I'm not Kura!"
"I don't want him." Rindou answered, pushing Azrael to the matress and kissed him passionately on the lips. He shoved his tounge into Azrael's mouth when he'd opened his mouth to shout protests.
Muffled grunts and gasps for air is all that fell around the two of them for the following five minutes at least.
