The next few moments came as a blur to both Azrael and Rindou. Shoves, kicks, punches and an occasional head swing erupted between the two of them. Laying on the bottom and tangled up in the thin blankets was Azrael, putting up a pretty good fight considering he hadn't been in a solid body for several decades. Trying to pin Azrael still, Rindou was using all of his horseback training he'd gotten since he was three.
A good ten or twenty minutes of this wrestling and a loud slap made them both freeze.
Rindou backed up off of Azrael, looking away from him with cloudy eyes.
Azrael sat up slowly, hardly believing he'd just slapped Rindou with the back of his hand.
Silence hung over them for nearly an hour. Neither of them had the courage to break it.
Thankfully, neither of them had to. The door flung open finally and in came Ba'Von. She stopped, looked between the two of them then walked over and yanked on Rindou's ear.
"What are you doing here?!" she bellowed at the prince. "Go and get Kura!"
Rindou didn't answer her in any way at first. Then he did, slowly looking up to her and asked with a blank face. "Why?" Ba'Von and Azrael blinked in shock. They looked to each other and then to Rindou.
"You wanted to save him really badly the other day..." Ba'Von started.
"I don't want him anymore." Rindou answered flatly. "He's stupid. He let himself go to someone and lost his body. He didn't care that he was leaving his friends behind!"
"Rindou.." Azrael frowned, trying to think of something to say. Even if he wasn't Kura, the body he inhabited still had lingering feelings of what he had felt before he'd gone.
"Shut up!" Rindou snapped. "He's a traitor."
