I've always struggled with being angry, or rather, letting myself be angry. One of the most valuable things I've learned in therapy so far is how to accept my anger and use it for good. Would my therapist be proud that I channeled my anger into beating up my backpack? I don't know. But am I proud of myself for actually allowing myself to be angry out loud, and to not let my anger sit and fester? Hell yeah. And in the end, isn't that the most important thing?
