After dinner a bodyguard showed me to "My" room and left, but not before making sure to lock the door. I sat on the corner of the bed and set my head in my hands. I was royally screwed. I shouldn't have even been comfortable to sleep but the bed was soft and the bedding very warm. I peeled my clothing off down to my boxers and wiggled down into the blankets. My body relaxed almost right away.
* * * * * *
I woke up to a lot of screaming. Naturally I jumped out of the bed and wobbled around before I got my bearings. I pushed my tired body towards the door and opened it. Romeo was on one crutch and the bodyguard from last night had a gun. There was a man with a gunshot to his chest a few feet away. I forgot about every thing else and moved to help the man. Before I could reach him though I was grabbed by a different bodyguard. I fought the guard, I needed to help that man. More gunshots sounded. Glancing over it was clear the man was dead now. There was no way he could live after a double tap to his head. My mind told me I had to call his time and close his eyes. Once the bodyguard let me go I walked over to the body and placed my fingers on his neck to confirm death. After that I closed his eyes and called the time of death.
"Follow me."
I followed behind Romeo to an office area. He carefully sat down in a rolling office chair.
"Sit."
I sat on one of the chairs and looked at him. Something told me I need to check his leg well he's sitting down and relaxed.
"Let me check over your stitches and what not."
"I suppose you could check them out"
I wanted to say something snappy back but honestly it really wasn't worth my life. I got out of the chair and walked around the desk. I soon discovered a problem. Romeos suit pants. His suit pants would have to be pulled down because I wouldn't be able to push them up.
"Well?"
" I ... um will have to take your pants off."
"I see."
Romeo unbuttoned his slacks and lifted his body up with his arms. I pulled his pants down. It was hard not to admire his nicely tanned and toned legs. Slowly I pulled the taped peice of cotton off his leg and looked at his stiches. They were holding well. The skin was red but the infection seemed to be clearing just fine. I poked around the wound lightly and asked if there was any tenderness. He said it was fine. After helping him readjust his pants and belt I went back to sit in the chair.
He called a man into the room. He brought a cart of food with him. My stomach chose this time to misbehave. The man served me a plate of breakfast foods. The man told us to enjoy and left. He left the cart with extra food in the room. We ate and made conversation. I found out that Romeo is a huge music fan. He loves rock music and loves to dance. He has two younger brothers who he would do anything for. He asked about me so I told him about my career and such. We talked for awhile having a good time. He let out a soft yawn. He called for the bodyguard and he came right away. The bodyguard help him get up and I followed behind Romeo. I happened to look down at Romeos back and saw it.
A gun.
This man was dangerous. I had to remember not to be drawn in by his sweet charms.
