I'M ALIVE!!
How's it going, readers? Been a while! Which is totally my bad. Truth is, life exploded big time for me since I finished Frightful & Delightful Book One. First of all, I'm getting married! YAAAAAY! Also, I've been working with a wonderful human being who is currently helping me write my first TV show! WHAAAT?!
Yep! So I've been pretty hung up on current life events, which truth be told had me completely put Tapas on the back burner on someone else's stove-top. I'm terribly sorry about that! But after getting some extra training in story design for TV, it had me re-evaluate Frightful & Delightful's story. Which brings me to my final snippet of news.
The bad news is, I will no longer be posting Frightful & Delightful on Tapas. Mainly because of the good news... I'm publishing it on Amazon as its own stand-alone ebook! WHOOO!! And that will take a lot of time, as a ton of other stuff is happening at once.
Thank you everyone who has been helping me out and reading my stories throughout the years! It's an absolute blessing and honor I'm at this point in my life at all. The creative process takes hard work and dedication, as well as an incredible knack for soaking in touch criticisms, but I know you all got what it takes to get to where you want to go!
It's dang hard work, but keep working towards your dreams! And always remember that there are people out there who want to help you reach those creative goals. :)

However, since I have had some readers express their concerns, I will leave this note here for those who are also concerned. The negative observations in the novel is not to disgrace nor accuse those of the Christian faith nor of the Christian representation of God. As a fellow believer, I know better. Rather, due to her retention of guilt, Elisabeth's view of the Lord's forgiveness--and forgiveness in general--has been skewed. This misunderstanding on her part and her fear of healthily presenting her struggles with loved ones has caused her to be the target of accusation and alienation. This, in turn, will naturally cause her to question the goodness of God. Now, I will not tell you how her journey in faith will end. I just ask that you won't be discouraged in your own faith nor in your standing on forgiveness. Again, as a devout Christian, I can wholly attest to the goodness of God, but let us dare to be in the shoes of a believer who may struggle with the concept.

Hello, loves! Hate to say it, but I am not yet publishing chapter 25. I did a lot more traveling than I thought I would, and overall, I'm not 100% happy with how the chapter currently is. I will need more time to edit it. The good news is, chapter 26 is totally ready to roll, so this will be the last hiatus for this novel. That's a silver lining, right? Bahaha! Thank you for your patience! Let's push for June 10th!

I remember how refreshing it was to read about a Tolkien-esque world from a goblin's point-of-view (even though that goblin may not have been a goblin to begin with). The mystery you had set up was engaging since you only left behind tiny hints, which makes the reader yearn for more. And the fact that there's an MMORPG factor added in just makes me laugh and desire more to see what is REALLY going in this story's reality.

Amazing feedback, I appreciate it. Tolkien is such a big influence in this genre its so easy to build worlds around it haha I'm happy the mystery worked well, it's something I'm not so good at and I'm trying to get better at building that suspense. I've got more content coming soon that'll be wildly all over the place for its themes and I hope you'll check it out when I manage to get it going. I'm about to update the entire F&D series. This means I will be re-uploading previous chapters that had been edited and brought up-to-date with the current layout. Unfortunately, comments may be misaligned with their intended chapters. I wish there was a better way to organize everything, but for right now, this is the best I can do in my power.
Also, I have updated the previous chapters, which means some scenes have been changed. If there are newly added scenes that are vital for the upcoming chapters, I will be sure to send a notice out to everyone.
As for the upcoming chapters, I will need extra time to edit and be sure everything is done for the final stretch. That's right, these last few chapters are the end of F&D, part one! Part two will be MUCH shorter, and will be the last of the F&D story. I want to be sure the reading experience is good enough when that time comes.
