I am Sascha Brandt, also known as lionclaw in the art world, an independent comic creator based in Switzerland and the creator of Sandra's Day. While the art world shifts, I have consciously chosen to step back and preserve the classic ways of comic making traditional craftsmanship with real ink and dip pens. I have a soft spot for anthro lionesses, a total obsession with Lemmings, and I'am probably an Aspie myself.

Hi everyone,
I’d like to give you a brief update on my current situation. I am most likely going through an autistic burnout right now. This means my batteries are completely drained, and my nervous system needs a long break to stabilize again. Additionally, I will soon be undergoing an official autism assessment to get some clarity on my situation.
What does this mean for Sandra’s Day? I will do my best to keep the project going, as Sandra is very close to my heart. Drawing is important to me, but my health has to come first right now. Please understand if updates are less frequent or if I’m slower to respond to comments.

EN: First of all, I want to thanks everyone who supported me where ever it was possibile. So I was able to get a replacement for the broken display of my old PDA.
Since I'm still not really able to draw with my injured hand, Tira-Shanks and JKnewlife suported me with theier works, what made me really happy.
I hope I'm able draw again soon.

Da auch meine Hand noch immer nicht voll einsatzfähig ist, haben mich Tira-Shanks und JKnewlife unterstützt, was mich auch sehr gefreut hat.
Ich hoffe sehr, dass ich bald wieder richtig zeichnen kann.

EN: An MRI scan revealed that a tendon in my right wrist is torn and one is even ruptured. Now I'm out of action for six weeks. I really hope my buffer from Sandra's Day will be enough to bridge this time so there's no break... Or would anyone be interested in contributing a filler to fill a potential gap?
DE: Eine MRI Untersuchung hat ergeben, dass eine Sehne im rechten Handgelenk angerissen ist und eine sogar gerissen, nun bin ich für sechs Wochen ausser Gefecht gesetzt. Ich hoffe sehr, dass mein Buffer von Sandra's Day reicht um diese Zeit zu überbrücken, damit es nicht zu einem Unterbruch kommt :-( ... Oder hätte jemand lust einen Filler beizusteuern, um eine mögliche Lücke zu füllen?

EN: On my last walk in the woods, I just wanted to relax—but instead, I ended up falling and, of all things, broke the display of my beloved "Palm Tungsten E2" PDA. I feel really bad about it, and even though I’m using a backup PDA right now, it just doesn’t feel the same. Somehow, it doesn’t feel like mine.
That’s why I’m now looking for a replacement display (for example, from eBay) and would love to do a trade: I’ll create a commission art piece in exchange for a new display.

EN: My psychosomatic symptoms have gotten a bit worse again, and on top of that, I strained my right wrist. As if that wasn’t enough, I fell during a walk in the forest—which I actually wanted to use to relax—and landed on my bag, which caused the display of my PDA to break. 😭 I do have a replacement PDA, but it’s still really weighing on me. I’m considering offering a commission art piece in exchange for a replacement display, so that my finances aren’t strained even further.

What a bad month! :-( Maybe I was able to finish the child book I was working on, but now I broke the pointing finger of my left hand. As if that wouldn't be enough, I got a bad Spring fatigue. My hole Time schedule is upside down, and to all this, the idea I had for the next Sandra's Day page doesn't work. Now I have to come up with a new idea :-(
