SupportMy name is Zummeng, and I create art and comics both in SFW and NSFW themes. My main orientation are furries, but I love creating in all kinds of themes and settings. I'm trying to make a living from my Patreon and my own original contents and comics, but I do commissions and illustrations to books, games etc. too. Here's a little something for the Tree of Life page that had to be delayed :)
I wanted to make the commanders look much more “human” than the chaos monsters so they would stand out from them. After all, what could be scarier among an army of disgusting mutants than a more or less “normal” looking person? :D
Of course I wanted to put something extra into him to make him look more interesting. Instead of random mutations, I wanted to come up with something that could synergize with his fighting style or something that might have led to the development of his fighting style. So he got daggers, an infinite number of them he could draw anywhere, anytime, so he never has to skimp on them. In the end I think he turned out pretty cool :)
The mutts are a completely different story. I wanted them to be chaos monsters, just like the rest of them, but I also wanted all of them to look like they were made or shaped for a specific purpose. I gave them huge hidden fangs full of acid, so if the situation calls for it, they can take their dangerousness to the next level :)
Also, since I made these references, I've drawn these guys a few times, and just like with other characters, a few details in their design slightly changed with time :D

I wanted to draw something else for you on the last day of the year, but unfortunately you'll have to be satisfied for the New Year with my boar self :D

I thought maybe I should make a picture of my boarsona I could use as an ID picture, but then I realised that there are only a few sites where you can put a featured picture, and even if I could, I would just pin the Tree of Life cover anyway, so I was like, "Eh, what the hell, here's a random sona picture" :D
