I’m participating in Sketchtember this year! 🎉 Production of Magical Renegades will still continue during this time and may be feasible since I’m trying to keep this challenge simple. Sketches drawn from start to finish in the same day.

Hello! 🙂 This is an update to thank you for your patience when my update schedule has slowed down to about one episode a month!
This pace should be temporary. Episode 25 is almost finished, and should be posted by this weekend. It's been more than a month in the making with a lot of new material!
When I haven’t been ready to publish a new episode or chapter on a weekend, I post WIPs to keep you informed about the progress along with supplementary material! They’re on my project blog and site!

I’ve still been working on Magical Renegades every day. Episodes 24 and 25 took a lot more time than usual since they aren’t adaptations of earlier comic pages. Episode 26 won’t be either.
25 and 26 will have complex backgrounds that I designed in Blender! This is a large upfront investment of time, but it’d save time later when I’d need to use those backgrounds again at different angles.
As time-consuming as modeling those have been, I like designing architecture and have a lot to say about that in my recent and upcoming WIP posts!

*Chapter 10 of Extra! Chronicles. This will be posted following episode 25.
*Characters page for both sites

Magical Renegades is doing spring-cleaning! This series is now just for the webtoon. The extra stories are now part of Magical Renegades ~ Extra! Chronicles, a separate novel spin-off which you can read here, which relaunched with a new chapter and character: https://tapas.io/series/magical-renegades-extra-chronicles
This change should make the extra stories more accessible, and provide a more consistent reading experience.
They had only been posted on the blog before, and the episodes that announced them in the webtoon reminded readers to look for the link in the author comment to view the stories.
I’m not sure yet whether to remove those announcements, but moving forward, the extra stories will be posted in Extra! Chronicles.
I encourage subscribers to subscribe to both, to not miss the extra stories, but there’s also more on the blog!

Magical Renegades underwent a rebranding! URLs are all that’s left to change, but for now they’re being kept unchanged to avoid any issues linking to the pages.
The new design features rococo watercolor aesthetics to convey a look that better reflects the extravagant, and playful yet dramatic tone! The rebranding extends to the blog and the twitter page!
