'True identity revealed! Artist was a cat all along...!'
2/22/2024 - Happy Cat Day!! 😸
Today is also the two-year anniversary of "Cat@Net"!
Thank you to everyone who's been around for so long, and also to everyone who joined just recently - Thanks!!
So, part 1 of 3 of "Cat@Net" is done, after two years.
By this calculation, will it take another 4 years for the story to be finished? 🙀
Uff...
Of course, I want to continue the story - but I also want to work on some other stuff alongside the comic and not push those ideas away for years.
Furthermore, at this point I'd like to show the story to some publishers and see what they have to say. The way I progress with the comic depends much on their feedback; if there's no interest in publication, I'll be in no rush to continue quickly and can devote some time to smaller projects with quicker turnarounds, like short webcomics or so.
I'd love to finish the story, of course. Still, keeping the motivation up for years when there's (so far) very little feedback/demand is tough though, as each page takes many hours of work to finish.
Still, I want to get a very small circulation of part 1 printed and see how that does at conventions. Maybe a 'real', physical version will draw more interest?
A phone screen also doesn't really do justice to full-color comic pages :S
Oh, and Cat@Net is on tiktok now! Yeah, I caved... I'll just dump some timelapse videos there as advertisement for my main page.
Anyway, thank you again for your support so far!
Stay tuned...! 😼

I'M BACK!!
...kept you waiting, haven't I?
My apologies 🙇🏼♂️
I can't believe I didn't really work on my comic since March! This wasn't planned, I swear :<
At first, I was getting ready for convention season, printing a whole lot of artworks. Then, in May, I was working on a short 5-page comic for a soon-to-be-announced anthology.
June was back to printing and a few other work-related obligations, and from the end of June I was pretty much away from home for a month.
All that on top of organizing the artist alley + doing the graphic design for #nihonbashi_kassel a new, local anime convention...!
I didn't really feel like returning to the comic when I knew I had to step away again after 2-3 days for the next thing down the road.
I prefer to get all tasks out of the way first, and then focus completely on one job, if possible.
Thank you for sticking around!!
I promise I'll update more frequently again now...! 😼✌
(Also, I meant to leave some work to my assistant (see below) in the meantime, but he didn't lift a paw...! -__-')

Hey everyone, big apologies for the long radio silence.
Many projects and obligations came in one after the other and made life much busier than I had anticipated.
I also didn't want to just squeeze a single page in when I had a window of a few free days.
I prefer to get one thing out of the way first in order to focus properly on the next.
Unfortunately, it will still be a while until I can get back to Cat@Net, as I am now leaving for a longer trip in July - sorry!
This page was one I still had in reserve.
I'm looking forward to dive back into the comic in August.
See you then...!
Thank you so much for your patience!!

Hey feline fellas!
I've just uploaded a new video to my YT-channel, and this one is something we can all relate to: Social Media & Mental Health.
There are many videos and articles covering the topic already, but since I keep seeing fellow artists becoming more and more frustrated and even quitting entirely over something like likes and followers, I just couldn't sit by quietly.
Here's what I think about this entire game of social media, and I hope it can help a few people to not stress too much about some number on their profile.
