I'm very happy I tapped your avatar out of beard curiosity when I saw it next to one of your comments. The cover of The Shrouded City immediately made me curious: modern times/fantasy crossover setting (I thought up such a setting a while back for a chat-based rpg and, while doing so, became quite fond of that mix), interesting character designs, a very appealing art style. Plus, the bearded goodness that is probably a dwarf. Having started reading the comic, I couldn't put my tablet aside until I finished all currently released pages. That said, big thanks to you and Amy for creating this wonderful read! This patient bear is gladly waiting for more.

Man, any tips? The funny thing, is I was closely following how busy I was by how many subscribers I have, which is nothing compared to a lot of comics on here. To get to what feeble status I'm at, I looked around at other comics, sub'ing to comics I like, left comments on comics, and talking on the forums. Consistency and clarity of story. Your audience will find you. Honestly, persistence and luck. Keep on keeping on!

Any tips?... Yeah I have one that I've been thinking about lately. After doing much research, I've concluded that Tapastic heavily leans towards the LGBT community. The first three pages of "Popular Comics" has like a 95% Gay theme to straight comicbook hero ratio. I liken the situation to walking into a McDonalds and trying to sell leather jackets. Sure you might get one or two interested people in a month, but lets face it, they ain't in there to buy what you're selling. I'm about to make a push onto other sites that attract more 'classic comic-book' fans. I'm still planning on staying here as well, because I love how the site looks and the ease of everything. Good luck to you! (Also, anytime I sub to a comic I like, I 'humbly' remind the artist to check out my comic as well. Most of my subs have come through this process. It never hurts to ask! )
Hey Nate, quick follow-up to this discussion. http://forums.tapastic.com/t/line-webtoon-opinions/2578 was the #2 most viewed thread on the forums. Looks like Webtoons is the place to expand. I'm planning on releasing 2-3 pages twice a month after reading what other people have experienced. Good Luck!
