Im pleased to announce that Act 1 (the first 12 pages) of Akademiya Maharlika will be published and sold at Summer Komiket this February 24 as part of the "Likhamoverse"Comic Compilation.

1. Im sorry to say that the comic is still in hiatus. My Thesis Animation is about 75% done at this point, I'll be uploading it in the internet for the world to see as soon as it's complete. But I also got into a lot of freelancing work to support my studies. and speaking of freelance...
2. I got a side job as a story artist for an indie studio called "Rocketsheep" (some Filipinos here may know them from their last film called "Saving Sally"). We're working on an animated feature called "Hayop Ka: The Nimfa Dimaano Story". here's the teaser for that: https://www.facebook.com/RocketsheepStudio/videos/1671287452930603/
3. As for the Comic, I'm just going to throw this in here, there is only about 5-6 more pages left til Episode 1 is complete. After that, there'll be another hiatus (that might be short or long, depending on how much I planned it this time xD) before I start updating for Episode 2. Im just giving you a heads up for when I come back. I'll update again in a few months, but as for now I must return to my man-cave, slaving away on my thesis animation.

I'm currently in the middle of production of my thesis animation and I might be able to show a sneak peak in a couple weeks
but for now, I would like to share an art blog I just started in tumblr. I'll be posting my artworks here when I'm not working on the animation. Also feel free to send me a message if you want to just talk. I don't have much friends in tumblr yet but it would be nice to start with some of you guys.

I really like your style. Don't have a Tumblr but if I did I would follow it. Tumblr 's just not my thing. Keep up the great work and getting things done :) Very much appropriate your diversity in heritage in your art.

so Im gonna have to extend Mini-Hiatus 4
because finals is THAT bad xD
(also cause I got a storyboarding gig for this rad animated film) so I thought of making up to you by doing an emergency intermission. You can ask the characters (or me) anything under the sun and they will answer. (just keep it PG pls)
I might upload them this saturday, depending on how much questions this gets.

I don't know why people get anxiety, if people enjoy what they're doing then they have the right to do so and if some people disagree with that then they should probably most definitely keep their mouths shut. also I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this
That's the thing, people who disagree don't know when to keep their mouths shut :( That's why bashing and trolling are such heavy issues nowadays.
Anxiety is actually much broader than that. In fact, most of the time, anxiety triggers in times where nothing DOES happen. the fear of the unknown, the unanswered what-if's. In my case, I get anxiety from the fear of the ever crumbling balance of making a webcomic and working on college thesis. Not to mention our financial instability that's barely keeping up my tuition fees. And the fear that I might loose inspiration in doing the comic.
