On the surface, Shady Glen is a sleepy little college town in a valley in the southern Rockies. But underneath, it hides a secret: myths and folklore come to life!
Rue just moved there to start college, hoping to have the first normal school experience of her life after a childhood of constantly moving around. Was her mother just paranoid to keep running away all this time, or was her father really still searching for her? Rue just hoped Shady Glen's high supernatural population would help camouflage her. The Supernatural Protection Agency certainly thought so.
With a new friend group at her back and a debt to the S.P.A. to pay off, Rue must deal with both supernatural and average college student problems, along with the complications of budding romance, all while trying to avoid the attention of the Unseelie Court.
Will she find love and happiness, or be forced back to Faerie as a slave of the Unseelie Court?
