Shadows and shells of the people they once were, Natsu and Toji Kanaki fight and struggle to survive on opposite sides of the barrier, desperate to return to one another, even at the cost of Toji’s sanity and Natsu’s soul.
Kas Strannick is a man with no name. Thrown into exile by Toji and the Helman Kingdom, he has wandered the boundary towns of the Veil doing mercenary and bounty work, staying as far away from the Helman Kingdom as he possibly can. However, for the last three decades, there is only one person from his past he can’t seem to let go of, the only person he never wants to lose: Noah Albright.
Noah, now a top assassin for Havik and his wife, Kayla, has never stopped loving Kas, even though he knows doing so may cost them both everything. Now, with the end of the separation in sight, and the total takedown of all the corrupt Divine involved, Noah, along with Kas, Toji, and the rest of their family, must race to the barrier and destroy it, getting to Natsu and the others before time runs out for good.
