Description

Jon Morgan has nothing, and has had nothing since the day he was born. Nothing that made him happy. Thus, his experiences developed a thick skin, and an unbridled, furious hatred towards the world that he felt had long turned its back on him.

After finding himself in a Nevada town and joining a gang with a growing reputation, he figures this excursion will be brief; it will only last until he decides to take to the roads once more, going wherever his gypsy heart and vagrant soul took him.
That was his plan: find a new town, settle briefly, remake the name for himself as a menace to society in which he felt he belonged, then leave. All of this, over and over again as a cycle.

It is however, until he meets the intense and aloof, convenient store clerk Judias, a young half Native American man who never fails to remain dauntless and bold against Jon's tough approach, along with his short temper.
Rough as their first impressions were, Judias never fails to pique Jon's interest; as much as Jon prefers to keep the facade of cruel and uncaring, Judias somehow always manages to see through Jon.

Neither know of the trials and obstacles they will face, once fate has tied them together, fighting against racism, homophobia, envious lovers, and ugly bits of their pasts coming to haunt them, all set in the American 1950's.

But amongst the trials and hardships, perhaps it will only pave them the way to a truth, of what it's like to give your heart to someone, and to truly be free.
