Raine Swann has always been an outsider, now more than ever. Homeless and jobless in a strange town where people are oddly suspicious, he considers going back home and taking up an offer from an old friend. But he can’t. He can’t because his truck is attacked and his secret discovered. Instead of taking the hate, the glances, the judgment, like he used to, Raine tells a new “friend” about his past, along with the weird dreams he’s been having. But that’s when things start to get weird. Apparently, dreaming about a mysterious god in a town full of magic users who worship said god isn’t normal.
