Halloween on a school day is a mixed bag. On one hand, kids get to dress up, and have treats during the school day such as snacks and movies. Sometimes even a field trip. On the other hand, many kids wish they had the day off to enjoy the spookiest of holidays. After all, Halloween is when reality blurs and strange things can happen.

Julie's class is on a field trip to a toy and miniature museum. She's excited to see all the neat exhibits. They even have a miniature Halloween village exhibit out just for Halloween day and night! If only the two class bullies, Briggs and Clay, would leave her alone to enjoy the day.

During the trip the bullies take things too far and accidentally activate a magic charm on the museum that brings the displays to life and shrinks the class! When the Miniature Halloween King holds most the class captive, Julie must rescue them with the help of a horse named Ruff and the bullies. But can Julie trust Briggs and Clay or are they too set in their ways to help her?
