Alex and Spenser are best friends who are both born on the most important times of the year: the time a god went to sleep.
The gods wanted to make a haven for the myths that were arising, so they made a universe: Mytholigica. It spent so much energy from the gods that only a few minor gods got to walk the world they made.
When a dark matter arises, Alex and Spenser are forced to become Arcanias, powerful mages that can preform any magic-at a cost.
