Set in an alternate dimension.
What happens when you mix two pre-teen anti-heroes with mysterious superpowers? Weird, crazy stuff happens. After a traumatizing plane crash, the cynical Alex Mclain and extroverted Samuel Miller both have to cope with what appears to be a freak accident. But things soon go south as they find themselves in Europe, with a mysterious threat stemming from where they acquired their powers. Together, they battle these threats with their equally mysterious abilities: Silver, a shapeshifting mercury pool of metal that replicates whatever it touches. Hence, Alex's mind, Silver (somehow) communicates through whatever electronic device Alex touches. Sam goes on the wild side with Beast, a literal body of pulsating dark sinews that make him look like something from a Guillermo Del Toro film. They keep these facts from their parents and they overcome challenge after challenge. But Alex's mutual attraction to Sam threaten to overthrow their responsibilities, possibly dooming humanity.
