I spent a while trying to figure out a good title for this comic, and this is more or less why I chose it.

As far as I know, Rabbi Hillel's teachings are preferred over that of Rabbi Shammai. I read about some of the topics these sages debated, one of them was "should you lie to an ugly bride and say she's beautiful?"
Shammai said lying was wrong.
Hillel said all brides are beautiful on their wedding day.

Hillel is my favorite classical rabbi! We used to sing a song about him in Hebrew school all the time.. he is a hero

This series is a comic diary based around my journey in converting to Judaism.
